(# 4) ADORE THE GOLD - Thought he ran the best race of those that were defeated by Scat Daddy, in the Fountain of Youth. Had a wide draw and pressed pace of Stormello, most of the race, bid around the 3/8ths pole and continued on trying hard to the finish. It was a hard race but the works since indicate that it didn't take that much out of him.

(# 5) STORMELLO - Unlucky loser of the Fountain of youth, in that he ran his heart out, repulsed bids by several and lost in the last jump to Scat Daddy. Returned to home base of Hollywood Park and continues to train for Bill Currin.

(# 1) NOTIONAL - Lots of talent resides here and won from the twelve post at the Fair Grounds, not an easy task. Last race was first outside of California and represented initial effort without "Bute," and he passed with flying colors. Undefeated (2-for-2) since blinkers went on.

(# 3) SCAT DADDY

(#6) CHELOKEE - Showed talent at two and is beginning to put it all together for Mr. Pletcher. First try without Johnny V. but Prado is obviously an able replacement. Could go either way in here. Chelokee continues to improve and could outrun his odds.
