2nd pick: #8 (Rubytheheartstealr) (3-1) - Daughter of the speedy "Henny Hughes" missed by a "neck" when debuting here at this level and distance on a sloppy surface Jan. 30. Race was switched "off the turf" and she was a well clear of "Lovely." On the sidelines since, filly is working fast and is a big danger.
3rd pick: #4 (Rockabye Lady) (8-1) - Filly broke poorly but rallied strongly to check in 4th of 11, beaten just under three lengths here at this trip and condition Jan. 17. It was her first 3 1/2 months and $200K daughter of "Rock Hard Ten" is a stretch threat.
