It was her first since being claimed by Linda Rice for $20K Nov. 7 at Aqueduct. Back on a quick turnaround, she drops further down and I give her top billing.
2nd pick: #7 (Always Lucky) (5-1) - $110K purchase has been competitive in both starts at the meet after coming off a 9-week break Jan. 5 while joining the barn of Emmet Jolley. Stalker is clearly improving and is in the mix.
3rd pick: #1 (Princessa Crystal) (8-1) - Longshot recovered after being bumped at the break to finish third here Jan. 5. 4yo was 1.5 lengths in back of 'Alway's Lucky' that afternoon, draws a ground saving post, and think she can factor at a big price.
4th pick: #8 (Bulldat) (10-1) - Another longshot, she's moving to the grass and racing beyond 7 furlongs both for the first time. Filly has some early speed, is from a good barn (Terri Pompay) and may get a slice large odds.
