This is a great matchup for the Golden State offense and plenty of good news with star Stephen Curry back. The Warriors are up 2-0 and shot 59 free throws (making 46) in the first two games. Forward Draymond Green is averaging 18 points, 12 rebounds and 11.5 assists in the series and guard Curry will be back in the starting lineup tonight. Curry drained five three-pointers with seven rebounds in Game 2. Coach Steve Kerr told reporters Curry will start in Game 3 and will play more than the 27 minutes he received in Game 2. During the regular season Golden State was tops in the NBA in points scored, field goal shooting, and free throws (.815%), while the defense was third in field goal shooting allowed, and #10 at defending beyond the arc. The Warriors are 62-36 ATS against teams averaging 106+ points per game after the All-Star break, plus 72-50 ATS as a favorite of 3.5 to 9.5 points. They are also 17-6 OVER the total in playoff games. By contrast, New Orleans was #29 in the league in points allowed, on a 25-9 run OVER the total at home. The Pelicans are also 31-16 OVER the total as a home dog. In addition, in the second round of the playoffs when the total is 210 or higher the OVER is 100-46, so back the healthy and super-talented visitors in an offensive show. Play Golden State and the OVER.
