Top pick: #2 (FANTASTIC ATTICUS) (5-1) - Gelding has run well in all three grass appearances and last out was beaten in the last few strides here at this level Aug. 16. Stalker breaks just off the rail and is running third back from a two month vacation. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Citron Kid) (6-1) - So. Cal. invader has been facing much tougher fields down south and last out rallied to finish 5th of 10, beaten 3 1/2 lengths at Del Mar on Aug. 18. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Bobgeepers) (9-2) - Son of "Forestry" rallied from far back to finish two lengths back of "Fantastic" last out. Only his second start, it was his first on the grass and first going two-turns. Hollendorfer trainee is a stretch threat today.
4th pick: #1 (Vantage Point) (4-1) - Another coming from down south, son of "A.P. Indy" hasn't run since late Nov. Working fine for his new trainer (Jed Josephson 29% with new arrivals) and 4-year-old is a factor if ready.
