Top pick: #6 (PURPLE STARDUSTER) - Heavily bet in her Del Mar debut on August 10, filly broke like a rocket, opened up a big lead, and tired during the stretch run to finish second. Claimed that afternoon for $40K by Dean Greeman, he ran her back two weeks later for $50,000 and she again had the early lead before weakening in the last furlong. Barn drops her below the purchas price today and this 4 furlong distance is just right. Very tough to beat on the front end.

2nd pick: #3 (Sheza Great Friend) - Blinkers are added by trainer Doug O'Neill and this filly by "Stevie Wonderboy" tired last out after chasing the pace from a difficult outside post. Looks like the main danger.

3rd pick: #7 (Cali Gal) - Trainer Mike Pender had a nice meet at Del mar and he'll drop this filly down in price and add the "hood." The blinker move is a 25% one by the barn and it's of note that Pedroza is aboard.
