2nd pick: #6 (Heaven's Bargain) (2-1) - The probable favorite, filly chased and held down the place spot when racing here at this tag & trip on Sep. 8th. Solid debut, and she returns on short notice for the dangerous combo of trainer (Jeff Mullins) & leading rider Marty Pedroza.
3rd pick: #2 (Miracle Merger) (3-1) - Mare finished second in the same July 31 race that "Candy" exits and rallied by that rival in the final furlong. Fits, is working fine, and a fast and/or contested pace would help her one-run style out.
4th pick: #9 (Sweetpeacefuldream) (8-1) - Arapahoe invader is lightly raced, improving, and last out finished second there facing special weights. Speed/stalker drops into a claimer for the first time, and Colorado-bred can factor with her best.
5th pick: #10 (Dulcemia) (20-1) - Mare draws a very tough outside attempt for her first since July 12. She's working above average and has enough ability to grab a small slice at a big price with a patient ride.
