Eastern Kentucky at UT Chattanooga

Chattanooga coach Lamont Paris brought in 10 new players this year and so far so good as the Mocs won their opener 80-69 as a 4.5-point favorite over Charlotte. Jerry Johnson Jr. scored 18 points and Donovann Toatley added 17 points. The Mocs made 11-of-21 three-pointers while holding the 49ers to 4-of-16 from long distance. Eastern Kentucky returns only one starter, Nick Mayo, and he scored 26 points in his team's 105-77 blowout loss to Marshall on Wednesday. The Colonels had a miserable shooting night making just 26-of-80 shots for a .325 percentage and they were 3-of-27 (11.1 percent) from three-point range. Eastern Kentucky comes off an 11-20 season and new coach A.W. Hamilton has a big job ahead of him fitting in all the new players.
