The Tigers got another pick-me-up from Justin Verlander to salvage a game in their three game series at Pittsburgh. Overall, the Bengals have been playing at a level closer to what was expected back in April, but their overall losing record has oddsmakers, and gamblers, off of this team. The Rangers redeemed an ugly home loss vs. the Rockies yesterday, which could have that satisfied feeling coming into this series. Justin Grimm had a pedestrian outing in his debut as a soft hitting Houston club, but will be challenged a lot more significantly vs. the Tigers. Ricky Porcello has shaken off a poor start by not allowing more than four runs in any of his last ten starts and the Tigers have been 13-6 in his last 19 road starts. Call goes to Detroit in this one.
