Detroit is only 12-16 away from home this season, averaging 4.3 runs per game, yet they are favored here. I like the Royals with Brian Bannister on the mound. Bannister is 4-1 this season at home, thanks to a 3.65 ERA. He's 25-12 in day games in his career. Jeremy Bonderman has pitched well this season, but he is still just 2-3. When coming off a win the past two seasons, Detroit is just 18-34 on the road. I like the home dog here.
