Result:
WIN

This is a battle of winless teams, but at least Denver has managed to cover the number two of its three games while the Jets are 0-3 ATS, allowing an average of 31.3 points. New York quarterback Sam Darnold threw two pick-sixes plus was picked off another time as he finished 17 of 29 for 168 yards in Sunday's 36-7 loss to Indianapolis. The Jets totaled only 260 yards of offense while the Colts gained 353. The Jets defense is #17 in the league in yards allowed and #28 in scoring defense, and it has been plagued by penalties while being unable to consistently get off the field on third downs. Denver kept it relatively close against Tennessee and Pittsburgh before losing 28-10 to the Buccaneers and the ageless Tom Brady last week. The Broncos have lost starting QB Drew Lock to injury as Jeff Driskel had taken over and completed 35 of 64 for 432 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in two games against the Steelers and Buccaneers. However, that wasn't good enough, and the Broncos plan to start Brett Rypien on Thursday night. Rypien replaced Driskel on Denver's final drive and completed his first eight passes for 53 yards before throwing a pick in the end zone. Rypien is expected to be able to stay on his feet longer than Driskel, who was sacked 11 times the last two weeks. Denver's defense is ranked #20 in yards allowed, and the Broncos have given up an average of 23.3 points per game. It's a near pick 'em game. Take the Broncos on the moneyline.
