Denver at Minnesota

Denver has an excellent chance to end its six-game losing streak tonight against Minnesota, which it has beaten the last two meetings, including 112-100 on this court on Dec. 15. The Nuggets shot 56.2 percent from the floor and made 10-of-18 from beyond the arc against the Timberwolves in that matchup. The Wolves are 5-13 straight-up at home and 14-20-1 ATS overall this season. The Nuggets come off a 112-106 loss to Portland on Sunday as Danilo Gallinari scored 29 points and Jameer Nelson added 17 points, however, the Nuggets made just 7-of-22 from three-point range. The Timberwolves have lost three in a row and seven of their last eight games, including a humiliating 109-99 loss at Philadelphia on Monday. Shabazz Muhammad finished with 20 points followed by Andrew Wiggins with 16, but the Wolves allowed the 76ers to shot 55.2 percent from the field while shooting a .534 percentage themselves. Denver is 16-5-1 ATS at Minnesota and 11-5 ATS overall the last 16 meetings and Minnesota is 16-38-1 ATS at home dating to last season.  Also, the Timberwolves are 2-9-1 ATS after an ATS loss.
