Top pick: #1 (JUST LIKE AMY) - Probable favorite was well-bet in her debut and after setting the pace she held gamely to finish 2nd here at this tag almost a month ago. Has a nice work at Evangeline since and she draws the rail. Much the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #8 (City Slew Miss) - Drops off a 9 month layoff and a trainer switch to Teresa Beasley. Working nicely for her return and this filly took some action in all three of her starts last winter facing tougher. Dangerous rival.
3rd pick: #6 (Astarterwife) - She rallied from far back to finish 2nd here for twice this price Nov. 26th. Race was her first back off a 2 1/2 month break and she's a stretch threat again this evening.
