3rd pick: #3 (Rascal) (4-1) - No-speed type was never involved here facing a bit tougher Dec 2. It's noted that he was nervous before the break. Four-year-old had rallied to finish third here at this level in his previous pair and is a legitimate stretch threat.
4th pick: #4 (Hinds County) (10-1) - Speedy and lightly raced, he moves up a bit in class today. He's been competitive in his last pair and his early speed in this rather pace-less field is a big plus. A 'live' long shot.
