(# 6) ROYAL HIGHNESS - European import now resides in the barn of Graham Motion. Came here last fall and ran third against males in the Turf Classic (Grade I) at Belmont Park, then lost a narrow decision to today's rival Safari Queen in the Long Island Handicap. (Grade 2) at Aqueduct. Put away until February, she defeated Safari Queen easily in the Very One Stakes (Grade 3) at Gulfstream Park. This 11-furlong distance should be right up her alley and if this filly brings her "A" game she will be very tough.

(# 3) Safari Queen - Ultra-consistent mare from the Pletcher barn always runs a good race. Has been a steady stakes performer for the past two seasons and has run her race over all types of grass courses all over the Northeast and in Florida. Draws well for her style and is the horse the top pick must down.

(# 8) Rosinka - Big time effort and figure earned in the Rooney Memorial over this course last out. Lightly raced and working well, filly started her career in England before coming here. She is improving quickly and could have a big say in the outcome.

(# 7) Humoristic) - Tries hard, but hasn't been able to get there first in a long time. She has been fed a diet of stakes races over the past two seasons, and to her credit has performed well without winning.
