Top pick: #7 (WATZ HIS NAME) - One of two entered by trainer Mike Matz and the pair will race uncoupled. Seven-year-old went to the sidelines in May of 2010 and did not return to action until early June. Runs today on his favorite surface (7-3-2-0) and last out finished third at this price at Philly Park Aug. 1, his best effort since getting back into action. Matz has worked him four times since that outing and he gets the call in a tough race.

2nd pick: #8 (Newfound Desert) - The second of the Matz pair rallied while racing very wide in the same race as "Watz" and was less then a length behind him at the finish. Working very fast for this attempt and this lightly-raced 4-year-old is 2-for-3 on this surface. Completes a strong hand from the trainer.

3rd pick: #9 (High Aspirations) - Has a bit of back class and comes here from Monmouth after a good effort at this price and distance just 11 days ago. Race was his first in two months and its nice to see trainer Diane Alvarado bring him back quickly for this attempt. Strong factor if he avoids a wide trip.

4th pick: #6 (Tar Beach) - He's never won on the turf, but 5-year-old by "Sky Mesa" is bred for the surface and brings excellent positional speed to the contest. In a very good Philly Park barn, and trainer Keith Lebarron names Jeremy Rose for the assignment.
