2nd pick: #5 (Talon) (3-1) - One of five making their debuts, son of 'Candy Ride' sold for $170,000 as a yearling and is from a fine first-out barn Arnaud Delacour 23%. Colt worked a bullet half-mile here from the gate and he has Delacour's 'go to' jockey Dan Centeno aboard.
3rd pick: #1 (Pucon) (9-2) - Colt is another making his first start and he's been in steady training here since late July. From a capable barn (Mike Stidham) and he wins at a 21% clip first out.
4th pick: #2 (Just Flash) (4-1) - Grey colt broke sharply and set the pace before weakening to finish second here at this level and distance Sept. 18. He's worked fast since and must be left in the mix.
