Top pick: #1 (PLAY EIGHTEEN) - Colt broke his maiden when debuting July 7th at Colonial Downs on the grass and was bet down to odds of 1-9, so he was highly though of by those "in the know". Trainer Dane Kobiskie sent him right into a grass stakes in his first facing winners and son of "Henny Hughes" ran 2nd despite a poor getaway. Latest effort saw him press and run 2nd in an allowance contest at the Timonium Fair and that was his first race on the dirt. Barn drops him into a claimer for the first time and he's part of an entry with #1a Bandidos Yanquis. The horse to beat.

2nd pick: #5 (Phil's Posse) - Trainer Steve Asmussen ships him in from Monmouth where this son of "Posse" broke his maiden on August 6th. Colt is showing steady improvement since his debut and he's a win candidate and the choice if "Eighteen" scratches.

3rd pick: #1a (Bandidos Yanquis) - He's part of a Kobiskie trained entry with our top pick and will be facing winners for the first time. Son of "Macho Uno" tracked, bid, and drew away in his victory and has now been competitive in all 5 trips to the post.
