(# 7) READY SAY GO - Like the fact P. Val was signed on for his initial race in Oct. of last year. Flashed some speed in both outings while wide, and has been on the shelf since those 2006 races. Working well over this surface, and if he is racing fit he should win this.

(# 1) Slews The Believer - Speed from the rail, but he's five and still a maiden - not a good sign. Still he fits at this level, and there probably isn't a weaker bunch he could find.

(# 6) General Ron S. - Dueled from the inside in small field in debut run on the July 4. Freshened since, Lasix is added today, and he moves off the rail. Two drills since the initial run seem adequate.

(# 8) Getreadytorumble - Colt by Indian Charlie makes his debut for the Carava barn. Drills are better than average, and he need not be anything special to make an impact here.
