Premium Pick

Top pick: #4 (KVETCH) - She's been freshened-up since last October, and at that time she ran well in both starts despite having trouble at the break in each. In her debut she rallied to finish third here racing for $32K August 31st, then checked-in 3rd again a month later at Santa Anita. Trainer Pete Miller wins at a 23% rate off of long breaks and she can take this if ready.

2nd pick: #2 (Aunt Gert) - Price play has solid early speed and breaks near the rail. Grey filly runs third back off a 10 month layoff and her speed makes her a win threat.

3rd pick: #7 (Never Shea Never) - Bet down to favoritism when debuting in early Dec. at Hollywood, she was away slowly and had some early traffic issues and did well to be beaten just over two lengths. Factors if ready.

4th pick: #12 (Maid of Dishonor) - Debuting filly has been in steady training since early May and most all of her works are well above average. Capable barn (Tim Yakteen)has his "go to" rider Quinonez aboard.
