Top pick: #12 (ROUSSEAU) (4-1) - Filly needs one scratch to get in off the A.E. list and is the choice if she runs. Bred/owned/trained by Mike Mitchell, she was bet down to favoritism when debuting here facing tougher on Aug. 1 and tired after pressing the pace while racing very wide. She's worked since, takes a 40% drop in price, and looks set.

nd pick: #9 (Tookmebysurprise) (7-2) - Tommy Town home-bred has been sharp in both appearances and has shown fine early speed. Trainer steve Miyadi drips her down a bit and daughter of "Kafwain" is a win candidate.

rd pick: #4 (Ascription) (3-1) - One of several making their second start and she finished an even third here when debuting on July 26th. Drops slightly, she's worked twice since, and trainer Doug O'Neill adds blinkers.

th pick: #3 (Monstro Ness) (12-1) - Longshot is the speed nearest the rail and grey filly by "Rock Hard Ten" has shown excellent early speed in both previous starts. She took some money last out, has worked twice since, and Ky.-bred runs without blinkers for the first time.

th pick: #7 (Sweet Millicent) (7-2) - Home-bred finished an even fourth when debuting on July 26th and was only a length back of "Ascription." Drops, has worked three times in the last 20 days, and the Hollendorfer barn adds blinkers (24%).
