2nd pick: #3 (Scandal) (7-2) - Grey mare has been freshened up sine May 20. $240,000 daughter of 'Blame' has finished second in seven of 10 starts on the grass including four in a row earlier this year at Santa Anita. Strong finisher is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Lady Mamba) (9-2) - Daughter of 'War Front' cost $1,000,000 as a yearling back in the fall of 2015. She chased a quick pace to finish a distant third when debuting in a dirt sprint here in late November. Working way above average, she's moving to the turf off the layoff and it's a surface she was bred to excel.
4th pick: #4 (Domestic Vintage) (5-1) - Stretch runner has been competitive in three of her first four, all on the grass at this level. Freshened up since March 5, she needs to step it up for anything more than a small slice of this.
