Top pick: #5 (GO ON BABE) - Fast working daughter of "Stormy Atlantic" is one of a pair of fillies trained by Bob Baffer and they'll race as separate betting interests. Sophomore is working very fast for her debut including a pair of back-to-back "bullets" from the gate at Hollywood. Trainer wins at a 24% rate first out and this filly may be a talented one.
2nd pick: #3 (Mama Bouche) - The 2nd of the Baffert pair finished a close-up 3rd when debuting on June 5th at Hollywood. She did so despite a "bobble" at the start and some traffic issues late. Has an excellent drill July 14th and is a threat for the top spot.
3rd pick: #8 (Primed) - Claiborne home-bred was reported to be a runner before her debut in early April at Hollywood and finished a solid 2nd in a large fiel in her debut. She regressed in her next pair, one each on turf and dirt as she was a handful for her jockey in both those starts. Freshened-up for the past two months she could prove a nice price play in the same race exotics.
4th pick: #2 (Roman Chic ) - Much improved last out in her 2nd start as she raced wide, made a strong bid towards the top, and settled for 2nd to a good looking winner. Working fast since and she draws the rail. Contender.
