Top pick: #5 (BLUE TONE) (5-2) - Gelding was reported to have talen before his first start and has shown plenty of that following an even effort when debuting on April 20th. Fouor-year-old finished second two back to the talented "Say Ow," then was a very impressive maiden winner at Hollywood on July 11th. Working fine since, we'll find out a lot more about him today as he takes on winners for the first time.

2nd pick: #7 (Curly Top) (7-2) - Dangerous rival, son of "Curlin" is talented and still has room for upside. Colt missed by a nose here on July 21st and has yet to run a sub-par race 6-1-4-1. Stalker has a new rider (Marty Garcia) as Bejarano "jumps ship" for "Blue Tone."

3rd pick: #4 (Soi Phet) (9-2) - He's won two in a row, a starter-allowance at Hollywood on June 30th, then scored here on July 20th. Speed/stalker moves up in class, but is in career best form since being claimed by Leonard Powell on May 23rd.

4th pick: #3 (Top Drive) (5-1) - Lightly raced and well-bred, he's been sharp in two of three and was away "slowly" in his only sub-par performance. Four-year-old by "Street Sense" has room for improvement and must be left in the mix.
