Top pick: #4 (TEMEEKU) (5-2) - Lightly-raced daughter of "Unusual Heat" was a winner at this level going "down the hill" at Santa Anita Oct. 25. Filly was disqualified and placed second that afternoon and has worked twice since. One-run type is stretching back out, retains Bejarano, and gets a slight edge.

2nd pick: #1 (Sidepocket Run) (6-1) - Strong finisher ran wide and evenly last out in the same contest that "Teemeku" was disqualified in. Mare was 6 1/2 back of her that day but was racing off almost an 8 1/2 month layoff. Strong finishers best ever came here at this level and distance when she was beaten a "neck" on July 25th of 2013.

3rd pick: #5 (Three Blondes) (4-1) - Speed/stalker always tries her best and she has a fine record on the Del Mar turf course 6-0-3-2. mare has finished second in two of three at this distance and is in the win mix.

4th pick: #2 (Bilger's Sapphire) (5-1) - Grey filly is clearly improving and rallied to finish second going a mile on the Santa Anita grass Oct. 19. It was a career best and came off a two month break. Working fast since, and the faster the pace the better her prospects.
