Top pick: #13 (RUSH OF THE DAY) (3-1) - At press time the late scratches have not been posted for Del Mar, so I'm not sure if this filly will run. She's on the also-eligible list and will need one scratch in the main-body to get in. Training well for her first since Nov 13, she's taking a big drop in class and draws a fine outside post at this 7-furlong trip.

nd pick: #10 (Warrenspoweroflove) (5-1) - Speedy sort set a pressured pace before tiring at Los Alamitos July 10. It was her first back off a pair of layoffs and she had a solid half-mile local drill July 31. Ben Warren home bred is the top pick if 'Rush of the Day' is forced to scratch.

rd pick: #11 (Little Star Maker) (8-1) - Grey filly is taking a big drop in class, switching from turf to dirt, and cutting back in distance. She hasn't shown much in her first four starts, but all have come facing much tougher. Can factor at a square price.

th pick: #12 (Sidepocket Bet) (6-1) - Away slowly in her debut, home bred made up some ground while wide during the stretch run. It was a useful debut and came against tougher April 17 at Santa Anita. Barn (Phil D'Amato) wins at a 22% rate second time out and at a solid 26% clip on this particular drop in class.

th pick: #2 (Catalina Bonita) (6-1) - She's broken slowly in three of her last four and that's a habit that is very hard to get rid of. Filly has overcome to be competitive in a pair of those. May grab another minor award with a late rally.
