Top pick: #4 (KVETCH) - Filly was re-claimed last out by Pete Miller after losing her for one start and that's always a sign that the barn likes runner. Interestingly she's finished third in all four apearances and has had trouble at the start in three of those. Can take this with an alert break.
2nd pick: #6 (Mirror Ball) - English-bred filly is working very fast locally for her first start since showin speed and tiring facing tougher on The Santa Anita turf Feb. 4. Trainer Mike Mitchell drops her way down for this and I almost made her the top choice.
3rd pick: #8 (Hanserella) - She just failed to hold on at 31-1 on August 8th racing at this tag and trip in by far the best race in her seven-start career. The pace here may be quicker, so she'll need to prove that the lates wasn't a fluke.
