She did well to finish a rallying 3rd here in her grass debut after having a very wide trip from an outside post. She's back on the dirt, has worked fast since, and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Dr Fager's Gal) (3-1) - Lightly raced filly was a winner here at this distance facing a bit weaker July 18. A career best overall, she's in shape and stalker has a shot if 'Ben" is sub par for some reason.
3rd pick: #1 (Ramona's Wildcat) (5-1) - Stretch runner rallied from far back to beat 'Ben's Duchess' by a 1/2 length last out racing on the local turf. She's worked fast since, has the rail, and both career wins have come on the dirt. Late threat.
