Top pick: #5 (NOT KIDDING AROUND) - Filly has finished 2nd in two straight here and came up a head short on Aug 1st and a neck shy on the 17th. Stalker is improving and home-bred can take today's finale with a clean trip.
2nd pick: #11 (Fly to Freedom) - Only a 1/2 length back of "Kidding" last out and that strong effort came first off a Pete Miller claim. She's worked nicely on the 28th and looks like the main danger.
3rd pick: #3 (Puff Pastry) - Runs 3rd off almost a 6 month layoff and she'll be cutting back in distance and moving from the turf to the "poly". Can factor at a nice price.
4th pick: #8 (Ya Wanna Hug) - Price play was bet early in her career and was beaten only a neck at santa Anita in late Dec. On the shelf since Jan 27th, trainer Rick Mandella has her working both fast and frequently for her return.
