2nd pick: #4 (Incensed) (4-1) - He's finished second in two straight at this distance. Four-year-old did so here at this level Aug. 27, then following a two month break he missed by 1.5 lengths at Golden Gate Fields facing tougher 12 days ago. Stalker is dangerous from just off the lead turning for home.
3rd pick: #6 (Mr Vargas) (5-2) - Very lightly-raced, he has a speed/stalking style and is shortening up in distance. Three-year-old finished a pace-setting second facing first-level allowance foes going 6.5 furlongs Oct. 5 at Santa Anita. Talented gelding has room for upside and must be left in a three-horse win mix.
