Top pick: #1 (COTTON'S POINT) (9-5) - The probable favorite, he finished second last out at this level going 6 furlongs on the grass at Hollywood June 15th. Race was his first since Oct. 15 and first off a trainer change to Jerry Hollendorfer. Stalker has the rail, has worked fast here, and Bejarano stays put.

2nd pick: #5 (Sophie's Secret) (3-1) - One of two fillies entered by John Sadler and both are contenders. Daughter of "Belong to Me" has been freshened up since Jan. 1 at Santa Anita when she ran sub-par for the first time. Working fine and looks set for a competitive race.

3rd pick: #8 (Tiz a Kiss) (6-1) - The second of the Sadler pair, she was away slowly when debuting at Santa Anita last October, and has been on the sidelines since. Working fast and grey filly took her share om money in her first appearance.

4th pick: #2 (Cravin the Heat) (4-1) - Un-raced since March 16th, filly is one of three entered in today's opener by trainer Barry Abrams. When last in action, she finished second, going "down the hill" on the Santa Anita grass for a $75K tag and will be racing on the "poly" for the first time.
