Top pick: #6 (LICO) (5-1) - He was a sharp maiden winner two back at Hollywood, and was claimed that afternoon by Cody Autry for $30K. New barn moved him to the grass for his first against winners, and gelding raced evenly after having some traffic issues at the start. Freshened up for the past six weeks, he's back on the "poly" this afternoon, and I like his chances.

2nd pick: #3 (Congregationalist) (3-1) - He ran well here last year when still a maiden, and got his initial win at Hollywood on June 27th. Score came off almost a 100 day break, and trainer Vlad Cerin has him headed in the right direction.

3rd pick: #5 (Orangeyouacutie) (9-2) - No secret when he debuted at Hollywood on June 3rd, grey gelding was bet down to 2-1 and re-rallied in the last 1/16th to get the win. Claimed that day by Vann Belvoir for $20K, he has him working fast, and it's a plus that he runs him back where he can't lose him.

4th pick: #4 (Rocky Barboa) (8-1) - Cal-bred has been sharp in his first pair and defeated $50K state-bred claimers at Hollywood on June 14th to get his maiden win. Working fine since, and can factor at a square price.
