2nd pick: #4 (Thermal Nermal) (7-2) - Former classier turf mare was a winner here on this surface July 20th when her former trainer (Kristen Mulhall) dropped her down in class. It was her first ever on a "poly" surface and she was claimed that day by Mike Machowsky. A threat right back.
3rd pick: #6 (Incredible Journey) (8-1) - No-speed type is making her "poly" debut after going 15-2-3-2 racing on the grass and conventional dirt. She likes to close from far back and will need a fast and/or contested pace for anything more than a small slice.
4th pick: #1 (Rosewhitenblue) (7-2) - Stretch out sprinter has the rail and has beaten tougher in the past. A synthetics specialist 14-3-4-3, filly was sharpened up in a sprint on July 23rd. Must be left in the mix.
