Dallas at Tampa Bay

In terms of postseason aspirations, time is not on the side of either of these teams, as the 2-6 Dallas Cowboys visit the 3-5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. These teams completed the first half of the season in last place in their respective divisions. Tampa Bay is a considerably better team on offense this season, as they have gone from a poor 17.3 points per game in 2014, to a more respectable 22.6 ppg this season. Jameis Winston is learning on the fly, and he has made a difference. However, the Bucs defense has gone in reverse after allowing 25.6 ppg last season to 28.9 ppg this season. That combination has led to Tampa Bay games scoring  seven ppg more this season over last year. Dallas finally put together a solid offensive game vs. Philadelphia last time out with 27 points, but the bigger problem is that the Dallas defense, which was a shinning star for the team a year ago, has now allowed 26 points or more in five of their last six games, and Dallas has now played to an 8-3 mark to the OVER in their last 11 on the road. Tampa Bay has suddenly become an OVER team, especially at home where they have delivered four straight that have eclipsed the total. Play this one to go OVER.
