Dallas at Los Angeles

After winning it all and adding Ron Artest to the fold, there will be a lot of overlays with the Lakers this season. The Mavs added to that as they got caught off guard by the Wizards in the opener, perhaps with one eye on this one. Teams that win titles often start out playing soft, and have trouble covering. The Lakers have experienced that already in their opener vs. the Clippers, and added to that is the target they wear as every team brings their "A" game, and in the case of Dallas, that game is pretty good. The Mavs have come back big after a double-digit loss at home carrying a 13-3-1 ATS mark in their next game. The Mavs certainly have no inhibitions heading into LA as they have scored the cash in each of their last five trips here. I like Dallas to rebound off the loss and stay close here.
