Cornell upstaged IVY powers Princeton and Penn last year in an unbeaten IVY run and an NCAA Tournament bid. They have a good share of that team back. What they have learned is, as much as they have been able to out-talent the IVY, when they step ahead and play competition, more athletic and quicker, they have to shift gears and slow the tempo or they get run out of the building. Last year in their games vs Syracuse, Duke and in the NCAA Tournament they did just that, with each game expected to be high scoring all went well under the total. The last two vs the Cuse have provided the same results, UNDER. Syracuse certainly will want to keep the pace high as they are scoring 83+ a game, but will be hard pressed to reach that number here. This Big red core that has been good for a few years hasn't stepped up over their level much, but when they do each time they have controlled the tempo. They had just one "over their head" game two years ago vs Iowa which also went UNDER, so each time they have kept the scoring down and don't expect that to change here, UNDER gets the call.
