LOSS

The Connecticut Huskies have now become the No. 1 team in the nation. So far this season that hasn't been good news for the teams that have made it there, as each have been knocked off. These teams both enter on nine-game winning streaks, but the Huskies have led a charmed life in conference play thus far. The Huskies have won eight of their nine games to teams in the bottom nine of the conference. They have yet to face teams that are in the top of the conference such as Louisville, Marquette, Syracuse, or Pitt. The Cards have already posted wins over Villanova, Syracuse, and Pitt, and are the better-tested teams playing at home. The Cards have been money in Big East play where they are 37-14-2 ATS in their last 53 against Big East foes. I look for them to pin a loss on the No. 1 Huskies.
