Connecticut at Seattle

2 units on Seattle -5 (-105) (risk 2 to return 3.9) RESULT: WIN
This is A 3,000 mile road trip for a struggling Connecticut squad. Connecticut opens the season playing four of its first six on the road and the offense is looking weary, #11 in the league in points scored. Connecticut fell 77-72 at home to Los Angeles on Thursday, shooting 37.1 percent to give it a 35.8 mark over back-to-back defeats. The Sun allowed the Sparks to make 50.9 percent from the field and are 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 road games. Seattle closes out a three-game homestand with a nice mixture of talent, with the last two top WNBA draft picks joining veteran Sue Bird. Top overall 2016 pick Breanna Stewart leads the Storm, living up to her high draft status, averaging 19 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists. She's coming off her best game with 25 points, seven rebounds, four steals and four blocks in an 84-82 overtime loss to Washington on Thursday. All of which makes this a great situational spot for the home team. Play Seattle.
