The Oregon Ducks have their National Championship aspirations in their own hands. They currently hold down the #2 spot in the Final Four. The committee has spoken about how teams need to beat bad teams in a way that shows they are an elite team, and the Ducks are a team that has already shown over recent years that they are not shy about pouring it on, and now they have an added incentive. Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota may be playing in his final home game as he is the odds on favorite to hoist the Heisman, and he may parlay that to a ticket to the NFL draft and forego his senior year while his stock is at its pinnacle. Colorado has problems as starting QB Sefo Liufau is recovering from a concussion, and backup Jordan Gehrke will get the start if Liufau isn't cleared to play, but it might not matter anyway.
