Colorado at Los Angeles

Los Angeles exploded for 16 runs and improved its home record to an astonishing 53-18 on Monday as Joc Pederson homered twice and drove in five runs and the Dodgers hit seven home runs overall. Colorado fell to 25-45 on the road and the Rockies are headed toward a last-place finish in the NL West. The Dodgers have won the last three meetings while scoring a total of 30 runs and Colorado currently is on a seven-game losing streak. Julio Urias gets the call tonight and it will be only his seventh start and he has an overall 2.53 ERA mostly as a reliever. Chi Chi Gonzalez is 0-6 with an 8.07 ERA and didn't make it out of the first inning his last outing when he was pounded for seven runs on seven hits in only 2/3 of an inning against Pittsburgh.
