German Marquez is 9-9 with a 4.69 ERA and will be facing the Astros for the first time. Justin Verlander had a rough outing his last start as he was ejected after arguing a balk call and wound up allowing six runs in two innings. However, Verlander had given up a total of only three runs his previous three starts and he still has a sparkling 2.50 ERA overall.
