Colorado at Arizona

Colorado is out of the playoffs race and Arizona looks to sweep the Rockies after scoring a total of 23 runs in the first two games of the series. Jeff Hoffman makes his fifth start for Colorado and the Rockies have lost his first four, including 14-1 at San Diego on Thursday when the right-hander gave up six hits in 2 2/3 innings and seven runs, although the runs were unearned. Hoffman is 0-3 with a 5.60 ERA and .297 opponent batting average. Rubby De la Rosa came off the disabled list to pitch two innings against San Francisco and allowed one run and one hits in two innings. He's scheduled to go deeper in this game and in 7 1/3 innings against the Rockies this season, De la Rosa gave up a run and four hits in 7 1/3 innings.
