Cleveland at St. Louis

St. Louis has put a halt to Cleveland's scoring as the Indians have managed two runs in two games after scoring 26 runs in three games against Detroit.  Matt Carpenter banged out five hits, including two homers on Tuesday night as the Cardinals won 11-2 while holding the Indians to six hits. The Tribe now has lost 12 of its last 17 interleague road games and four of its last five road games overall and Cleveland is only 16-22 away from home this season.  St. Louis is on a four-game winning streak and it has won five of Jack Flaherty's last seven starts. Flaherty has a 2.50 ERA and has allowed a total of only two runs on six hits his last three outings in 18 1/3 innings pitched. The right-hander took a no-hitter into the seventh inning on Friday at Milwaukee before the Cards eventually lost 2-1. Shane Bieber has made one road start this year for Cleveland and he gave up four runs on eight hits in 5 2/3 innings. Take the Cardinals.
