Sometimes when a team has a high scoring, high profile scorer such as Cleveland's LeBron James, it becomes in vogue to think this team will be involved in many high scoring affairs. In reality, it just doesn't translate very well. The Cavs have done more on the defensive end than they have on the offensive end. They finished last year going 5 straight under the total, finished the playoffs with 5 straight unders, and have started off this season with 2 straight unders. Charlotte, once again showed they are a talented, but young team. They had Memphis cold, leading by 10 to open the 4th quarter, and ended up losing by double digits. That had to be an emotionally draining game. Going on the road with a young team, having a W at arms length, and not only losing, but losing decisively at that. It is a product of a team that can be good in spots, but at times gets lost on the offensive end, and goes through scoring droughts. Cleveland had a major test last night beating a San Antonio team on the road. San Antonio just doesn't lose at home, so a big emotional win for the Cavs. The fact that these teams both played road games last night, and now both travel for this one tonight, both off of emotional games, makes me believe this one has good value in coming up under the total. The Cavs not only have played many unders, but the numbers get even better when they play against Eastern Conference teams. They have taken the money on the UNDER in 38 of the last 54 tries vs the East or over 70% of the time! This one looks ripe for the taking. Go UNDER.
