There is a lot of excitement in New York as the fans and ownership feel that they have put together a playoff-caliber team this season. The Jets have a new coach and a new QB directing the offense in Ryan Fitzpatrick. The problem is that Fitzpatrick has been deemed the answer by five other NFL teams, and it simply has not worked out. He seems to get the nod, and quickly wears out his welcome as has been the case in St. Louis, Cincinnati, Buffalo, Houston and Tennessee. I'm not sure if he has proven much of anything other than his stay will result in disappointment, and his tenure will be short. His record as a starter is 34-56-1, so there certainly is historical value in fading him as a favorite here. For all its flaws, Cleveland was 6-3 at one point last season, has one of the best offensive lines, and a secondary that features four starters who have all been to a Pro Bowl. I think the hype on the Jets will be ill-fated to start the season, and will go with the mild upset and back the Cleveland Browns on the moneyline for an outright win.
