Andy Reid will once again go after that elusive Super Bowl championship after coming so close many times. This year's squad has as good a chance as any of his teams with phenom Pat Mahomes at quarterback, Damien Williams at running back and Tyreek Hill at wide receiver all leading the way. Hill was thought to have been suspended, but the NFL gave him the benefit of the doubt following a domestic incident. Cincinnati has a new coach in former Rams quarterback coach Zac Taylor and the Bengals still think they have a slight window to making the playoffs before a full-scale rebuilding project. The Bengals will have to make major improvements defensively after finishing last in total defense and third-to-last in points allowed. The Chiefs have an experienced backup QB in Chad Henne, who has started 53 games in his NFL career and behind him are Chase Litton, who has only been on practice squads, and rookie Kyle Shurmer. Backing up Andy Dalton for the Bengals are rookie Ryan Finley, Jeff Driskel and rookie Jacob Dolegala. Driskel started five games in 2018 and appeared in nine overall and completed 105-of-176 for 1,003 yards with six TDs and two interceptions. Reid is taking preseason more seriously than he used to as the Chiefs have split their last eight games and he is 43-31-4 OVER in exhibition play and Kansas City went OVER three of four last year. Play the Chiefs on the moneyline and also take the OVER.
