Top pick: #10 (WHIRLING THUNDER) - He's run well in all four of his grass races and brings a nice stalking style to the contest. Son of "Smart Strike" is in-shape, in a good barn (Eddie Kenneally) and attracts Leparoux, who was aboard April 15 in this colts best effort of his career. The pick in a contantious race.

2nd pick: #5 (Home Field) - Bred for the turf, and that's just where his new trainer (Mike Maker) sends him tonight after a claim here for $50,000 on May 15. Gelding is working sharply and Maker wins at high rate (30%) running back his recent acquisitions. Win candidate.

3rd pick: #6 (Just Right) - He's obviously a much better runner on the turf than on dirt or "Poly" as he's finished second in three of his four grass races. Speed/stalker continues to train sharply and looks like he'll be involved from start-to-finish.

4th pick: #8 (Lamm) - Zayat Stable representative has improved since switching to the turf, and that's no surprise as he's by "El Corredor". Has ability and in this well-balanced field he should offer a nice price. Last out he was less than a length off the top choice.
