Top pick: #5 (DR. BALLENGER) - Lightly-raced colt has been competitive in all six appearances and last out at Oaklawn he finished fourth despite some traffic issues racing for twice this price. In shape and trainer Steve Asmussen gave him a "get acquainted" work here on April 23rd. Drops to a new low and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #8 (Saratoga Red) - Another coming from Oaklawn where he's finished second and third in his last pair facing slightly tougher. Seems better going a bit longer, but fits with these and is a stretch threat.
3rd pick: #4 (My Zipper) - Lightly raced, he chased and weakened at Oaklawn Park in an entry-level allowance Feb. 17 and hasn't run since. Training fast, his connections drop him into a claimer for the first time.
