Tommy Hanson came into 2009 with a bang and the Braves won his first five starts, but the league began catching up to him. From that point on, the Braves were just 7-9 in his final 16 starts. The Cubs’ Randy Wells really showed signs late last year of becoming a solid option in the rotation as he held teams to 1 run or less in five of his last seven starts. The Cubs also came up big when on the road as a dog of +151 to +200 as they closed at 8-1 in this situation. The Braves struggled with right-handed pitching, closing the season at 2-6 vs. righties. I like the Cubs on the runline here.
