Chicago at Pittsburgh

The Cubs are 1-8 in their last nine games and 27-41 on the year away from home. THey are scoring 4.1 per game away from home, 4.0 of late and 4.0 in night games. Pittsburgh is a winning home team! Yes, they are over .500 here scoring 4.9 runs per game. They are 29-19 this season at home vs. right handed starters and 15-9 at home after having won 2 of their last 3 games. Carlos Zambrano is the reason the Cubs are favored here obviously. He is very good. But, he won't get a lot of offense help tonight. Paul Maholm goes for Pittsburgh and he;'s 4-2 with a solid 3.67 ERA at home. He's got a bullpen backing him up that plays excellent at home. I see Chicago managing 2 or 3 runs tonight and that doesn't justify a favorite role in my book. Like the Pirates at home.
